Privacy Policy

BetGear is a free sports information and reference application featuring match schedules and results, a Live section, match cards, news, and a reference catalog. The application does not require registration, offer in-app payments, or display advertising.

The application does not accept bets, process payments, or organize gambling. All information is provided for reference purposes only.

The application does not request your name, phone number, email address, or payment details and does not create a user account.

When the application contacts our server, technical request data is transmitted: IP address, operating system version, device manufacturer and model, interface language, and time zone. This data is required to provide a better service.

On first launch, the application creates a random device identifier: a string that is not linked to your name, account, or advertising identifier. It is sent with server requests to distinguish devices and prevent duplicate notifications.

If you allow notifications, the application sends our server a Firebase Cloud Messaging token (Google) together with this identifier, the platform, and the application version, solely to deliver notifications. You may deny or later revoke permission in your device settings; the application will continue to work.

The identifier and your preferences—the selected sport and league—are stored in the application storage and are deleted with the application.

The application does not request access to geolocation and does not collect device coordinates.

Tournament cards may link to official websites. The link opens in your browser, and the application does not tell our server which link you followed. The privacy policy of the website you open then applies.

Service request logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted. To stop data processing, remove the application from your device. To delete records associated with it from our server, contact us.

The application is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect their data. If such data is provided, we will delete it.

Communication with the server uses a secure connection.
